When you win bonus Pokemon in this game, upload them to your cart to complete your collection. You can even get Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan as well.

To unlock a psyduck with the amnesia move, register all 151 Pokemon in the hall of fame. Do this by completing a tournament of Gym Leader Castle.

Beat your rival in Gym Leader Castle and you'll be given one of eight rare Pokemon. You can now finish your pokedex by repeating this until you have them all.

NOTE: That if you have the PAL version of PS you cannot use the Gallery Mode as it was removed because there are no Snap stations in the UK.

REPLAY ROUND 1 BATTLES

AT THE END AFTER YOU HAVE BEATEN MEWTWO, ALL YOUR ROUND 2 OPPONENTS WILL BE EVOLVED AND A MUCH HIGHER LEVEL. To PLAY AGAINST ROUND 1 OPPONENTS INSTEAD, PRESS RIGHT(CPAD) AT THE MAIN TITLE SCREEN.

TO GET DODUO MODE (DOUBLE SPEED) BEAT TOURNAMENT, NORMAL DIFFICULTY. To GET DODRIO MODE (TRIPLE MODE) BEAT ROUND 2.

AFTER UNLOCKING DODUO AND DODRIO MODES, YOU WILL NEW BACKGROUNDS FOR GAME BOY TOWER. YOU CAN ALTERNATE BETWEEN THEM BY PRESSING Z.

SURFING PIKACHU

ENTER ROUND 2, PRIME CUP, MASTER BALL. Put A PIKACHU FROM THE GAME BOY IN A TEAM OF NON REGISTERED POKEMON FROM YOUR GAME BOY CART. Beat THE MODE USING PIKACHU IN EVERY BATTLE WITH NO CONTINUES.

TALKING PIKACHU

IF YOU DOWNLOAD A PIKACHU FROM POKEMON YELLOW IT WILL TALK TO YOU AND MAKE NOISES.

CHANGE COLOR

POKEMON APPEAR IN DIFFERENT COLOR DEPENDING ON HOW YOU NAME THEM. USE THE NAME RATER IN LAVENDER TOWN. Put THE NAME IN SMALL LETTERS OR CHANGE THE NAMES AROUND, FOR EXAMPLE, DRILLBEE.
